Emerald Oil sees $808,379 September loss from operations; sales climb

Pittsburgh, Oct. 28 – Emerald Oil, Inc. reported an $808,379 loss from operations for September on $2.99 million in sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In August, the company saw a $1.5 million loss from operations on $2.79 million in sales.

The net loss for September was $2.57 million, narrowing from a $2.65 million August net loss.

As of Sept. 30, Emerald had $4.98 million in cash and cash equivalents, up from $3.54 million at the end of August.

Based in Denver, Emerald Oil is an oil exploration and production company that filed for bankruptcy on March 22, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-10704.
