Emcore investor Kopp sells 965,083 shares, drops ownership to 5.4%

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 31 - Kopp Investment Advisors, LLC has a 5.4% stake in Emcore Corp. following the sale of 965,083 shares of the company's stock between June 21 and Aug. 20.

The shares were priced from $0.92 to $1.31 each, a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission said.

Kopp beneficially owns 4,327,625 shares of the Somerset, N.J.-based company.

Emcore is a provider of compound semiconductor-based components and subsystems for the broadband, fiber optic, satellite and solar power markets.
