S&P puts Embraer issue ratings on watch

S&P said it moved Embraer SA’s issue ratings from CreditWatch developing to CreditWatch with negative implications following the termination of the pact between the company and Boeing.

“This change reflects that there is no more rating upside for the notes, which could have occurred if the transaction with Boeing was completed. The CreditWatch with negative implications on the issue-level ratings now mirrors that on the issuer credit rating on Embraer,” S&P said in a press release.
