S&P ups Elsinore Valley Municipal Water

Standard & Poor's said it raised its rating to AA from AA- on Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District, Calif.'s 2007A and B water revenue certificates of participation and assigned the AA rating to the series 2008A COPs. The outlook is stable.

The upgrade "reflects the service area's ability to generate sufficient revenues without growth, as well as the district's continued strong finances," S&P said.
