Gamco owns 6.33% of El Paso Electric

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 1 - Investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. bought 161,800 shares of El Paso Electric Co. between Oct. 1 and Friday at prices from $15.304 to $20.79 each, it was reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Gamco and its affiliates beneficially own approximately 2.83 million shares, or 6.33%, of the El Paso-based utility company.
