Moody's rates El Paso Pipeline notes Ba1
Moody's Investors Service said it rated El Paso Pipeline Operating Co., LLC's notes Ba1.
The outlook is stable.
Proceeds will be used to partially fund the purchase of an additional 15% ownership interest in Southern Natural Gas, a regulated interstate pipeline system owned by El Paso Corp.
The Ba1 corporate family rating also reflects the structural complexity through equity interests in some of its assets, the agency said.
