eLong shareholder monitoring company's direction

Charlotte, N.C., March 25 - Oak Pacific Interactive said it will continue to discuss eLong, Inc.'s strategic direction as well as ways to maximize shareholder value and/or a business combination transaction with eLong's management and board of directors, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

The investor beneficially owns 5,778,392 shares, or 25.9%, of the Beijing-based online travel services company.

Between March 3 and March 21, Oak Pacific bought 495,190 shares of eLong at prices from $2.28 to $3.31 each, the filing said.
