Bancroft, Ellsworth funds add O'Keefe and James Dinsmore as managers

San Diego, Jan. 10 - Bancroft Fund Ltd. and Ellsworth Fund Ltd. both announced that James Dinsmore, chief financial officer, and Jane O'Keefe became co-portfolio managers of the funds effective Jan. 1.

They join Thomas H. Dinsmore, chief financial officer, who has been the portfolio manager for the funds since 1996.

Since 1994, O'Keefe has been president of both funds and their adviser, Dinsmore Capital Management Co., where she has also been managing director of research.

James Dinsmore has served since 2007 as vice president of the funds and Dinsmore Capital Management, where he has also been a research analyst since 2004.

Morristown, N.J.-based Bancroft Fund and Ellsworth Fund both operate as closed-end, diversified management investment companies investing primarily in convertible securities.
