Elite Pharmaceuticals regains Amex compliance

Tampa, Fla., Aug. 16 - Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. said Wednesday that the American Stock Exchange (Amex) confirmed that Elite has regained compliance with Amex continued listing standards.

The Amex conclusion is based upon its review of publicly available information with respect to Elite, including its Securities and Exchange Commission filings. Elite presented its plan of compliance to the Amex on Feb. 3.

Northvale, N.J.-based Elite Pharmaceuticals is a specialty pharmaceutical company principally engaged in the development and manufacturing of oral controlled-release products.
