Electrotherm India may issue foreign-currency convertibles

Seattle, April 3 - Electrotherm India Ltd. plans to raise funds by issuing foreign-currency convertible bonds, American Depository Receipts, Global Depository Receipts or other securities, according to a company notice filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The board of directors will discuss the possible issuance at its meeting on Saturday.

Electrotherm is based in Ahmedabad, India, and manufactures furnaces, heavy machinery, electric vehicles and steel products.
