S&P affirms Electricidad Argentina

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the CCC corporate credit rating on Electricidad Argentina SA.

The outlook remains stable.

The ratings reflect the company's vulnerable business risk profile, S&P said.

This ratings also incorporate the high political and regulatory risks the company faces in Argentina, the agency said.

The ratings also reflect its highly leveraged financial risk profile, characterized by weak debt coverage and some currency mismatch risk from its financial debt being denominated in U.S. dollars, S&P said.
