Eksportfinans plans issue of 0.5% notes linked to S&P 500

New York, June 19 - Eksportfinans ASA said it plans to issue 0.5% principal-protected notes linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to mature three years after the issue date.

The redemption amount will depend on the performance of the indexes on the determination date. Investors will receive par plus 107.5% of the index return if the final index level is greater than 107.5% of the initial level. Investors will receive at least par.

Eksportfinans' issuer ratings are Aaa from Moody's Investors Service, AA+ from Standard & Poor's and AAA from Fitch Ratings.

Deutsche Bank Securities will be the agent.
