Eksportfinans to issue capital-protected notes linked to three Asian indexes

Seattle, April 26 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price an issue of capital-protected notes due 2011 linked to the Nikkei 225, Hang Seng China Enterprises and Hang Seng indexes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Payout at maturity will be par plus 125% of any positive return on the basket of indexes, with a floor of $1,150 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.

Commerzbank Capital Markets Corp. will be agent for the offering.
