Moody's lowers Eksportfinans

Moody's Investors Service said it confirmed Eksportfinans ASA's Ba1 issuer and senior debt ratings as well as its hybrid B1 hybrid ratings.

At the same time, the institution's subordinated debt ratings were downgraded to hybrid Ba3 from Ba2. The outlook on all long-term ratings is negative.

The short-term Not Prime ratings were affirmed.

The confirmation of Eksportfinans' Ba1 issuer and senior debt ratings reflects Moody's view that the short-term uncertainty surrounding Eksportfinans' ability to adequately manage its risks whilst running down its loan portfolio has decreased, the agency said.
