By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Sept. 19 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 0% buffered equity index-linked notes tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The maturity date is expected to be 13 to 15 months after the issue date.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to 85% of the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount of $1,100 to $1,115 per $1,000 principal amount. The exact maximum payment will be determined at pricing.

Investors will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline in the index beyond 15%.
