New Issue: Goldman sells $4.65 million buffered equity digital notes on S&P 500 for Eksportfinans

Chicago, Sept. 3 - Eksportfinans ASA priced $4.65 million of 0% buffered equity index-linked digital notes due Dec. 8, 2011 based on the S&P 500 index via Goldman Sachs & Co., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above 85% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus a digital coupon of 9.75%.
If the index finishes below 85% of the initial level, investors will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
