Goldman Sachs to price 0% notes linked to MSCI EAFE for Eksportfinans

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 16 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 0% equity index-linked notes tied to the MSCI EAFE index via Goldman, Sachs & Co., according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The tenor of the notes will be 24 to 28 months.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a maximum redemption amount of $1,370 to $1,430 per $1,000 principal amount of notes. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

If the index return is between zero and negative 10%, the payout will be par plus the index return.

If the index return is below negative 10% but is not below negative 30%, the payout will be $900 per $1,000 principal amount of notes.

Otherwise, the payout will be $900 minus 1.2857% for every 1% that the return is below negative 30%.
