Wachovia to sell enhanced growth notes tied to iShares MSCI EM for Eksportfinans

Chicago, June 1 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 0% enhanced growth securities with leveraged upside and buffered downside due Jan. 10, 2011 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund via Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum amount of $1,220 to $1,270 per note. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund shares fall by up to 10% and will be exposed to any declines beyond 10%.

Pricing and settlement dates were not specified in the filing.
