Wachovia to price enhanced growth securities linked to S&P 500 for Eksportfinans

New York, Feb. 6 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 0% enhanced growth securities with leveraged upside and buffered downside due Dec. 10, 2009 linked to the S&P 500 index via underwriter Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, up to a maximum return of 14% to 17% with the exact cap to be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.

The notes will price in February and settle in March.
