Goldman Sachs to sell enhanced participation buffer notes linked to S&P 500 for Eksportfinans

Chicago, Sept. 9 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 0% enhanced participation buffer notes due 2010 linked to the S&P 500 index via underwriter Goldman, Sachs & Co., according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to mature between 15 and 17 months after issuance.

Payout at maturity will be par plus triple any gain on the index, up to a maximum redemption amount of 112% to 118% of par. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par for losses up to 10% and will share in losses beyond 10%.
