Eksportfinans to price 0% notes linked to Asian currency basket via Wachovia

New York, May 16 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price two-year 0% bullish FX basket-linked notes linked to an Asian currency basket via agent Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of equal weights of the exchange rates against the U.S. dollar of the Hong Kong dollar, the Indian rupee, the Indonesian rupiah, Singaporean dollar and the Malaysian ringgit.

The payout will be par plus 200% to 225% of any basket gain. Investors will receive at least 95% of par.
