Morgan Stanley to sell PLUS linked to S&P 500 for Eksportfinans

Chicago, Oct. 6 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Nov. 30, 2009 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. is the agent.

Payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus triple any index gain, capped at 117% to 119% of par. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will be exposed to any decline in the index.

The notes will price and settle in October.
