Goldman Sachs to price triple up notes linked to S&P 500 for Eksportfinans

Seattle, Aug. 21 - Goldman, Sachs & Co. plans to price triple up appreciation notes linked to the S&P 500 index for issuer Eksportfinans ASA, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will mature 13 to 16 months after issue.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, subject to a maximum return expected to be 18% to 21%. The exact cap will be determined at pricing. Investors will be fully exposed to any index decline.
