New Issue: Goldman sells second tranche of Topix-linked notes for Eksportfinans, total now $45.8 million

Des Moines, May 9 - Eksportfinans ASA priced an additional $8,153,900 tranche of 0% enhanced participation notes due Nov. 11, 2008 linked to the Topix index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The total deal size is now $45.797 million.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes in the second tranche are priced at 101.96.

The first tranche, for $37,634,100, was priced at par. It priced on April 27.

Both tranches are expected to settle on May 11.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, investors will receive par plus three times the index return, capped at a maximum payout of 136.3% of par.

Investors will participate fully in any decline in the index.
