New issue: Wachovia prices $3 million notes linked to silver, gold for Eksportfinans

Chicago, Dec. 4 - Eksportfinans ASA sold $3 million of zero-coupon notes due Dec. 7, 2009 linked to a basket of metals via agent Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket contains silver with a 75% weight and gold with a 25% weight.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus the basket return, capped at a payment of $12 per note. Investors will receive at least $9 per note.
