Goldman Sachs to price notes linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets for Eksportfinans

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 7 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price zero-coupon 18-month enhanced participation notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund via underwriter Goldman Sachs & Co., according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 110% of any increase in the fund's share price, capped at a maximum return that is expected to be 131.9% to 142.9% and will be determined at pricing. Investors will receive par if the share price declines by 20% or less and will lose 1.25% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
