Fitch rates Ek-Chai notes AA+(tha)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned final national AA+(tha) long-term ratings to Ek-Chai Distribution System Co. Ltd.'s 2.5 billion in Thai baht guaranteed debentures due 2013, and to its 1.5 billion in Thai baht guaranteed debentures due 2015. Both issues are guaranteed by Tesco plc, which has a long-term issuer default rating of A- with a stable view.

The outlook is stable.

The final ratings represent receipt of final documents and are the same as the ratings assigned in January, Fitch said.
