Eitzen Maritime bond trustee extends payment grace period to Sept. 16

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 9 - Eitzen Maritime Services ASA bond trustee Norsk Tillitsmann agreed to extend the grace period for making the principal and interest payments on the company's callable bond issue 2007/2010 and senior secured callable bond issue 2010/2015 to Sept. 16, according to a company news release.

Eitzen said it is continuing discussions with the trustee on modifying some terms and conditions of the bond loan agreements.

The payments were originally supposed to be made on Aug. 19. This was extended to Aug. 26, to Sept. 2 and then to Sept. 9.

Oslo-based Eitzen Maritime Services provides ship supply, ship logistics, crew management and ship brokerage services.
