Egypt launches €2 billion of notes due 2025, 2031

New York, April 4 – The Arab Republic of Egypt launched €2 billion of notes in two tranches due 2025 and 2031 on Thursday, according to market sources.

The €750 million six-year tranche was guided to yield 4¾%, which was tightened from initial talk in the 5 1/8% area.

The €1.25 billion tranche of 12-year notes was guided to yield 6 3/8%, which was tightened from initial talk for yield in the area of 6 7/8%.

Order books during marketing topped €8.6 billion.

Banca IMI, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Natixis and Standard Chartered Bank are the bookrunners.
