Alcon at peer perform by Bear Stearns

Alcon Inc. was given a peer perform rating by Bear Stearns analyst Milton Hsu. The analyst reduced the company's 2006 ReSTOR sales projection to $112 million from $128 million and increased its 2006 lens care sales forecast by $43 million, to $386 million, due in part to Bausch & Lomb's ReNu issue. Shares of the Hunenberg, Switzerland-based pharmaceutical company were down $3.54, or 3.37%, at $101.43 on volume of 641,900 shares versus the three-month running average of 896,054 shares.
