Pittsburgh, Feb. 20 - Edison Mission Energy's plan of reorganization confirmation hearing is scheduled for March 11, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

As previously reported, the company reached a settlement with parent Edison International and company noteholders under which its plan will be amended.

Under the confirmation schedule filed Wednesday, the deadline for eligible claim or interest holders to change their plan votes is 6 p.m. ET on March 6.

Edison Mission, a Santa Ana, Calif.-based owner, operator and leaser of a portfolio of electric generating facilities, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 17, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-49219.
