Edgenet U.S. Trustee appoints five members to committee of noteholders
By Caroline Salls
Pittsburgh, March 13 - The U.S. Trustee for Edgenet, Inc.'s Chapter 11 case appointed a committee of noteholders for the case, according to a March 13 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
The committee members are Timothy D. Choate, representing Bondware, Inc. of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Richard C. Pinson of Nashville; Robert H. Neal of Nashville; Fred Marxer of Dallas; and Martin Davis of Nashville.
Edgenet's seller noteholders said last week that their request for appointment of a noteholders committee or a committee of unsecured creditors comprised of noteholders was being addressed by the Office of the U.S. Trustee.
At that time, the U.S. Trustee was soliciting noteholders for their interest in serving on the committee.
As previously reported, the seller noteholders are a group of 24 individuals who formerly held equity interests in Edgenet before it was acquired by Liberty Partners Holdings Partners 44, LLC.
Seller noteholders Marxer, Choate and Davis Carr said any unsecured creditors committee comprised of noteholders would include noteholders who agree to waive any continued security interest arising from their seller notes.
Edgenet, an Atlanta-based provider of cloud-based content, applications and services, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 14. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-10066.
