Chicago, May 31 – Republic of Ecuador priced $2 billion of notes in two tranches on Wednesday, a market source said.
Ecuador sold $1 billion 8¾% six-year notes at par.
Price talk for the bond was in the low-9% area, a market source said.
The second tranche was $1 billion of 10-year notes that priced at par to yield 9 5/8%.
Price talk was in the high-9% area, a market source said.
Citigroup was the bookrunner.
