Fitch applies B to Ecuador notes

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a B rating to Ecuador's $750 million notes maturing 2026.

Proceeds will be used for general budgetary financing purposes.

Fitch said the bond rating is in line with the Ecuador's B long-term foreign currency issuer default rating.
