Colombia’s Ecopetrol sets talk for dollar benchmark notes due 2026

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, June 23 – Colombia’s Ecopetrol SA set talk in the Treasuries plus 320 basis points area for a dollar-denominated issue of benchmark-sized notes due in June 2026 (expected ratings: Baa2/BBB/BBB), a market source said.

Credit Suisse and HSBC are the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The notes will have a make-whole call until three months prior to maturity and will then be callable at par.

Ecopetrol is a Bogota, Colombia-based petroleum company.
