New Issue: Colombia’s Ecopetrol prices $1.2 billion 4 1/8% notes due 2025 at 175 bps spread

Atlanta, Sept. 9 – Colombia’s Ecopetrol SA priced $1.2 billion 4 1/8% notes (Baa2/BBB/BBB) due Jan. 16, 2025 at 99.001 to yield Treasuries plus 175 basis points, a market source said.

Citigroup and JPMorgan are the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures.

Ecopetrol is a Bogota, Colombia-based petroleum company.
