Ecolab intends to price senior notes in two tranches

New York, Jan. 11 – Ecolab Inc. is preparing an offering of notes in two tranches, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a change-of-control put at 101%.

BofA Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay commercial paper borrowings.

The cleaning and sanitizing company is based in St. Paul, Minn.
