Alcatel-Lucent plans €500 million revolving credit facility

New York, Nov. 4 - Alcatel-Lucent has received a commitment for a new €500 million revolving credit facility, according to a news release.

In addition, the company plans on selling $750 million of high-yield bonds and raising €955 million through the issuance of preferential subscription rights to holders of its existing ordinary shares.

The purpose of these transactions is to strengthen the company's equity and provide it with greater financial flexibility.

Alcatel-Lucent is a Paris-based provider of products in IP and cloud networking, as well as ultra-broadband fixed and wireless access.
