Eaton Vance Greater India class B shares only available for exchange

Minneapolis, Dec. 7 - Eaton Vance Greater India Fund announced that starting Jan. 1, the fund's class B shares will only be available for purchase upon exchange from another Eaton Vance fund or through reinvestment of distributions, according to a press release.

Class B shares have no front-end sales charge but have a contingent deferred sales charge for the first six years and pay distribution and service fees of 1% per year. They convert into class A shares after eight years.

Eaton Vance is a Boston-based investment management firm.
