Barclays Bank buys $26.95 million of Sony claims against Eastman Kodak

Pittsburgh, April 2 - Barclays Bank plc bought a total of $26.95 million of Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc.'s claims against Eastman Kodak Co., according to April 1 filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Specifically, Barclays bought a $17.95 million claim and a $9 million claim.
Kodak is a Rochester, N.Y.-based imaging technology products and services provider to the photographic and graphic communications markets. The company filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 19, 2012, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York under Chapter 11 case number 12-10202.
