Kodak net loss shrinks to $91.34 million in April, revenues increase

Pittsburgh, May 30 - Eastman Kodak Co. reported a $91.34 million net loss for April on $156.03 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The figures showed improvement over the $128.66 million net loss posted for March on $108.62 million in revenues.

The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $617.61 million as of April 30, down from $661 million at the end of March.

Kodak is a Rochester, N.Y.-based imaging technology products and services provider to the photographic and graphic communications markets. The company filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 19 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-10202.
