Primax Electronics buys $16.6 million in Polaris claims against Kodak

Pittsburgh, May 9 - Primax Electronics Ltd. bought $16.6 million of Polaris Electronics Ltd.'s claims against Eastman Kodak Co., according to Wednesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, Primax bought a $10.76 million claim and a $5.84 million claim.

Kodak is a Rochester, N.Y.-based imaging technology products and services provider to the photographic and graphic communications markets. The company filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 19 under Chapter 11 case number 12-10202.
