S&P rates Eastern Michigan University bonds A

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A standard long-term rating to Eastern Michigan University Board of Regents' $125.83 million of series 2008 general revenue variable-rate demand refunding bonds, issued on behalf of Eastern Michigan University.

In addition, S&P said if affirmed the A underlying rating on the debt previously issued by the board on behalf of the university.
