Albania canvasses banks ahead of contemplated €500 million bonds

Portland, Ore., July 9 – Republic of Albania made a request for proposals from the investment banks, according to a market source.

Albania seeks to place €500 million of notes with a tenor of five or 10 years, the source added.

The bond would be part of a debt refinancing effort.
