Albania whispers five-year euro-denominated notes at 7½% yield

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, Oct. 25 -Albania's planned issue of up to €400 million in five-year bonds was whispered to yield 7½%, a market source said Monday.

Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan are the bookrunners for the Regulation S-only deal, which is expected to price during the Oct. 25 week.

The offering follows the sovereign's May announcement that it would delay a dollar-denominated issue of notes via JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank. At the time, a source said current market conditions were to blame.
