Dreyfus Basic California Municipal Money Market Fund to liquidate

San Diego, Oct. 29 - The board of trustees of the Dreyfus/Laurel Tax-Free Municipal Funds has approved the liquidation of the Dreyfus Basic California Municipal Money Market Fund on Dec. 18.

According to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the fund will be closed on Nov. 15 to investments for new accounts other than sweep accounts and accounts associated with group retirement plans that have established the fund as an investment option.

New York-based Dreyfus Corp. is the fund's investment adviser.
