Drexel Hamilton hires John Donovan as municipals senior vice president

Minneapolis, Oct. 24 - Drexel Hamilton, LLC appointed John M. Donovan as a senior vice president in municipals, according to a press release.

Donovan, who was hired along with three other individuals, has more than 27 years of experience in the municipal market with both sales and trading experience. His expertise includes primary and secondary market trading and distribution, relative value trading and hedging strategies, cross-market analysis and credit technical.

Prior to joining the firm, Donovan was senior vice president/institutional sales/trading at Stern Agee. Previously, he held senior management positions at Piper Jaffray & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Lazard Freres and Citibank.

Drexel Hamilton, a full-service institutional broker-dealer based in New York, said it partners Wall Street veterans with service-disabled veterans to provide fixed-income execution and strategy, equity research and execution, and investment banking services.
