Alaska Air gets $425 million term loan, draws $400 million under revolver

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, March 25 – Alaska Airlines has drawn down $400 million on its line of credit and closed an additional secured loan for $425 million, according to a news release.

The company said the measures were taken due to the “unprecedented falloff in demand related to the Covid-19 outbreak across the U.S. and beyond.”

The airline is based in Seattle.
