New Issue: Barclays prices $4.01 million trigger autocallables linked to Dow, Nasdaq

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., May 14 – Barclays Bank plc priced $4.01 million of trigger autocallable contingent yield notes due May 15, 2029 linked to the lesser performing of the Dow Jones industrial average and the Nasdaq-100 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each quarter, the notes pay a contingent coupon at an annual rate of 7.4% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier, 70% of its initial level, on the observation date for that quarter.

Beginning May 11, 2020, the notes will be automatically called at par of $10 if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its downside threshold, 50% of its initial level, in which case investors will be exposed to the decline of the lesser-performing index from its initial level.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays are the agents.
