Citigroup plans three-year buffered digital notes linked to the Dow

Chicago, Dec. 12 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price buffered digital securities due Dec. 27, 2021 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above the initial level or falls by up to 15%, the payout at maturity will be par plus 16% to 17%.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the 15% buffer.
The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Dec. 21.
The Cusip number is 17326YN93.
